Jute and Cotton shopping bags offer a natural alternative to traditional plastic carrier bags. These natural woven fabric bags originate in India where Jute and cotton is cultivated in large quantities. The Jute fibres are obtained from the bark of the Jute plant which is subsequently processed to create a commonly utilised fibre and valued commodity.

These bags are made to order and are produced from two of the largest manufactures of bags in Kolkata. Both have been audited against the Ethical Trading Initiative
